About the Project

SCAD SErve x Union Mission

Dedicated to assisting Savannah's homeless population, Union Mission opened a day center in 2022. The program had overwhelming demand, and they quickly outgrew the space. In 2024, Union Mission purchased an 8,200-square-foot facility that would serve as a blank slate for a new day center. During a 10-week quarter, I contributed to the SCAD Serve partnership with Union Mission to design a new Day Center for Savannah’s homeless community. 

As the Illustration Team Lead, I oversaw the project’s visual elements and collaborated with my team to develop illustrations and enhance architectural renderings with various Photoshop techniques.

As of December 2025, construction has begun to transform these designs into reality and is expected to be complete by Spring 2026. To learn more about Union Mission and their new Day Center, click the link below!
